| Glenn Reed received a BS in Mechanical Systems Engineering in 1988 from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio USA. He is a student of robust engineering and is trained in TRIZ* innovation, failure mode analysis and failure mode prediction methods. He has 5 patents. A summary of professional experience includes windshield wiper system development, radio bezel design, vehicle exhaust system development, electronic assembly manufacturing and development and specification of opto-mechatronic devices. He is currently Ford’s Mechanical Technical Expert in Infotainment Systems. His hobbies include studying TRIZ, collecting and reading technical books, performing FEA simulations, cabinet making, house renovating, and spending time with his family. | |
